Description: Ciba Karisik privilégie la tradition des natures mortes très réalistes. Il peint avec des couleurs riches et fascinantes, qui rappellent celles des maîtres européens. Ciba Karisik a obtenu une maîtrise en peinture en 1985 à l'Académie des Beaux-Arts de Sarajevo. Petit-fils de deux artistes, Karisik est devenu un artiste travaillant dans le style trompe-l'œil, très réaliste.
En 1992, il immigre au Canada où il poursuit sa carrière. Depuis, il a exposé régulièrement dans des expositions individuelles et collectives. Ses peintures sont conservées dans des collections privées et corporatives au Canada, aux États-Unis, en Angleterre et en Europe. / Ciba Karisik favours the tradition of highly realistic still life’s. He paints in compelling and rich colours, reminiscent of European masters, to capture the 'portrait' of a pomegranite. Ciba Karisik completed a Bachelor and Master's degrees in painting in 1985 at the Sarajevo Academy of Fine Art. The grandson of two artists, Karisik became an established artist working in the trompe l'oeil, high realist style.
In 1992, he immigrated to Canada where he continued his career. Since then, he has produced a significant body of work and exhibited regularly in solo and group exhibitions. His paintings are held in private and corporate collections in Canada, the US, England and Europe.
