Description
The Gemini 4 Spacewalk Photographs documents the first American spacewalk of Ed White’s Extravehicular Activity (EA) during the Gemini 4 mission on June 3, 1965. McDevitt pictures appeared in newspapers and magazines around the world, making a turning point in the role photography played in the space program and in the popular conception of manned space exploration.
