Description
AJ Casson (1888 – 1992) was a member of the Group of Seven. Beginning in 1924, Casson began to include the motif of the Canadian village into his work, which set him apart from his other colleagues. Lake Kashawigumog displays the artist’s background in design with his unique brushwork found in his paintings and the dramatic lighting of the landscape.
