Description
Wafers of cool white glass frit are layered and stacked in this abstract wall relief by Cheryl Wilson Smith. Wilson Smith's work is created by forming minute glass particles, known as frit, into paper thin pieces from which she creates her sculptured objects. Her work has been exhibited widely across Canada, in the UK and the US and is held in private and corporate collections. Commissions include the Red Lake District Heritage Centre, Margaret Cochenor Memorial Hospital Donor wall.
